how much brick,cement,and sand required in 1cum
brickwork(1:4)
Answer Posted / a.sanjeeva karna
brick size 0.23*0.1*0.1(1:4)
valum of brisk : 0.0023cum
say 12mm thick mortar or brick layar((0.23+.006)*(0.1+.006)*
(0.1+.006)
so volume of brick: 0.00265
no.of bricks in 1cum=1/0.00265=378 no.s
volum of brik for 1cum=378*0.0023=0.869cum
volum of mortar 1-0.869=0.131
add30% for dry mortar of =0.170 cum
add 10% for wastages =0.013 cum
total volum of mortar =0.183 cum
Say =0.200 Cum
for c:m =1+4=5
qantay of cemant 1/5*0.2=0.04 cum
1cum of cemant =(1440/50)=28.8bags
=.04*28.8= 1.152bags
sand =4/5=0.8*0.2=0.16cum
