and Closing stock
Rs.6,000. Then the amount of purchase will be
(a) Rs.80,500
(b) Rs.74,900
(c) Rs.74,700

Ans is Rs.80900/-
Formula for the same is
Opening + Purchase - Closing stock = Sale
5800 + - 6000 = 80700
So, 80700 + 6000 - 5800 = 80900.
