If we tell 60 sq.mm. 3-1/2 core cable,then what does it mean
?
1) Each core section in the whole cable is of 60 sq. mm.
2) The whole cable is of 60 sq. mm. which is sub-divided
into 3-1/2 core.

3cores are 60 sq.mm & 1/2 is less than 60 sq.mm this type
of specification is meant for cable size(3phase and one
neutral)

Why do we mostly prefer to generate and distribute electricity in 3 phase and not in 4 phase or 5 phase?
