what is the difference between linear and non linear
elements.
Answer Posted / satish
Linear elements are resistor, capacitor, inductor, transformer.for linear element there should exist linear relationship between voltage and current. i.e They change linearly with respect to each other. The graph is a straight line.
Non linear elements are diode, transistor. i.e semiconductor devices. The relationship between voltage and current is non linear (i.e not straghtline).
