Why and what cause of leak fuel oil in high pressure pipe of
main engine?

in case of main engine as u will find them in marine engines,those are provied in case the connection between the pipe and fuel injectors seated on the cylinder hhead are not seated properly or the thread provied theier to join them is weak
if injectors gets choked or not in correct setting the fuel pump supplying oil through high pressure pipe to injectors from fuel pump (as the injectors opens at around 270 bar pressure)high enough to brust the pipe
these high pr pipe prevent the spillage of oil and drainied it in safe way from any fire hazard
