what is the meaning of api ?what is the use of it ?
Answer Posted / jean jules fogang
API stands for Application Program Interface. In the
computer science world, an API is a ready-to-run program
that can be used to help improve other existing programs.
It is termed interface because it acts as platform between
the user and the program intended to be enhanced. In Oracle
for instance, an API commonly used is the Data Pump API to
write PL/SQL scripts that export and import data.
