wat is the difference between real power and reactive
power..which is useful..?and how it s useful..wat is the
effect of these on a power system...

Active power
Which iz doing the real work lighting heating etc
Reactive power
Which iz used for the magnetizing of motors, transformers
and generators coils.
active power iz use ful but with out reactive power u never
magnetize any motor transformer or generator u can just
only improve the power factor to reduce ur loss.
KVA * PF = KW
for example
100 * 1 = 100 KW
IF pf 0.8
100*.8= 80KW
