Active components can processing or amplifying an
electrical signals with th help of a bias voltage.
Eg Transistor, thyristor etc.

Passive components can't the above qualities. But these are
essential part of a faithfull result or processing with
active components.

Eg: Resistors , Capacitprs etc...
