WHEN ANIMALS ARE RARE ON THE PLANET SPIECES OR ARE ONES THAT HAVE A VERY SMALL POPULATION & POPULATION IS AT A GREATER RISK OF BECOMING EXTINCT IS CALLED ENDANGERED
Examples of Endangered are Tigers, Pandas, Peacocks, Whales etc
Extinct Species are the animals are no more on this planet ones that are either known (documented) to be extinct or are so few in population that a recovery is considered highly unlikely even under excellent conditions.
