VOIP uses Packet switching tehnique. Information to be
transfered is packetized and transmitted. Biggest advantage
is voice compression technique used. By using codec voice
is compressed, coded/decoded and vice versa. By this means,
the more numbers of calls can be occupied within the same
space occupied by a single conventional call.
