1% sol = 1000mg/100ml, 1000mg/1000 mL= 1000ppm
1000/10=100
1000mg is distributed 10 parts to 100mLs
then 1000mg/100mL = 10,000ppm
by this permL of solvent consist 10mg of solute
10mg/ml = 10000ppm
