Which power will flow first if we switch on a motor Active
or Reactive? How?

Answer Posted / murali290

when the fan switch is on first reactive power flows to
create medium to establish rotating magnetic field, then
active power flows for doing useful work(energy conversion)
DEFINITION OF REACTIVE POWER:THE POWER WHICH PRESENCE IS
INHERENT FOR ENERGY CONVERSION.
reactive power not do anywork but without reactive
power acive power doesn't do any work.simply for
establishing magnetic medium reactive power is must.
