Smoke testing is done by testers or developers before a
build is released to check whether the application smokes
(fails), term adopted from electronics field where
manufactured cirucits are quality checked and if smoked,
labeled as QC fail.
sanity testing is done by testers to check whether a build
is fit enough for further testing
