chromatography is a separation technique its principle is
mainly based on Rf value.In column chromatagraphy the
stationary phase is placed inside a column and mobile phase
is placed in a solvent reservoir which allows the mobile
phase run along the stationaryphase and there will be
interaction between the sample(which contains compounds to
be separated)stationari and mobile phase. then based on
partition cofficient values the sample molecules will be
eluted orderly from the column,
