controlled access-one node consult wioth the other node for
sending data packets.so, there is no collision.
three types-reservation,polling,token passing.
contention based access-node send the packet without
consulting with the other node.so, there is a chance of
collision.
four types-aloha,csma,csma/cd,csma/ca.
