Maybe you are referring to the main components of DCS...
1. Engineering Workstation - where you create your programs/FBD, etc.
2. Operator Workstation - monitoring and operation only, some call it as HIS/HMI
3. Network Communication - to communicate your workstations and field control stations
4. Field Control Stations - that's where your field control units are installed

why we should maintain neutral earth voltage below 1V while calibration? why cant it be 1.2V or 2V
