If 2x-y=4 then 6x-3y=?

2x-y=4
2x=4+y
x=(4+y)/2
x=2+y/2
Then 6x-3y = as follows below
Place x value as 2+y/2
Then
6(2+y/2)-3y=12+3y-3y
=12
