Induction motor works on the Faraday's law of mutual or
electro magnetic induction.Which states that if" Two coils
are inductively coupled(not electrically connected,but
closely connected without touching each other so that, flux
linkage can occur),if current flows in one circuit there is
production of emf in the neighbouring circuit.
so if power supply is given to the stator winding a
magnetic flux of constant magnitude but rotating at
synchronous speed is set up.it sweeps past the rotor
surface & cut the rotor conductors and emf induced in
them.As per Lenz's law"It opposes the very cause producing
it".So to reduce the relative speed (between rotating flux
and stationary rotor conductors) rotor starts running in
the same direction as that of the flux.

I have a current transformer with 1 main reading meter with transformer outside the building and a control panel having 5 CT reading meters with black round coils inside the building. I want to know, A) when current pass through the Transformers, will the current be reduced or be the same and after that B) when current pass through the CT meters with black round coils, will the current be reduced or be the same. C) in the above process will the reading of the main meter be same or different, from the total reading of all the 5 CT meters.
