how to calibrate displacer type level transmitter by dry
weight method please mention formula for weight calculation
Answer Posted / vikash suthar
here you have not mentioned that displacer is used for single
liquid measurement or Interface level my answer is for single
liquid measurement.
For zero take the weight equal to the weight of the float or
simply hang the float then give the zero
For span take the sp.gravity of the liquid and then take the
volume of the float by pie x r2 x h (r2 is the radius
square)and h is the height of the float.
multiply this sp.gravity and the volume of the float.that
will be the weight of the liquid displace by the float.
Then subtract this weight from the weight of the float that
much weight hang on by replacing the float and give span.
