Active Transformation -
An Active transformation can change teh number of rows that
pass through it from source to traget. It eliminates rows
that do not meet the condition in transformation.
Passive Transformation -A Passive transformation does not
change teh number of rows that pass through it i.e., it
passes all rows through the transformation.

Hi, I want to change date type char value integer value? I tried alter table tab_name modify (newcolumn newdatetype). But The columns have 10 million values(char type) so I want to load now numeric data. How it is possible?
