It is given so as to compensate the resistance drop in
field. When connected for calibration wires of shorter
legth are connected , so no drop in resistance occours.
The instrument is designed in a way to compensate field
resistance loss.

PT RTD Range: -200 to 500 degree celsius If I configured in DCS Lower range and Upper range .
