Why cannot we insulate HT over head cable to avoid ionization of air around the HT Cable?..By this we can minimise corona loss also..

It would require a very very thick insulation which will b
very very costly, a thin insulation will melt. corona
effect or air insulation is not of much hazard that is why
HT is not insulated.
