what is the problem in manufacturing transformer with 0
degree phase displacement.???why alwasys go for DYn11 or
DY5?Whys not DY0 i.e zero degree displacement between
primary and secondary side vectors?
Answer Posted / sujeet pandey
there can transformers with 0 degree or 180 degree phase
displacement like in the case of star-star or delta-delta .
In case of star-delta or delta-star transformer there is a
phase difference of +30 or -30 degree depending on
connection b/w them. This phase difference is due to the
relation b/w phase voltage of primary winding and phase
voltage of secondary winding.
