what is the principle involved in determination of moisture
content?
Answer Posted / archana
The sample is dissolved in a solvent which is content in a
moisture free vessel & titrated against the KF sol. the
unknowm water content of sample is determined by measuring the
volume of KF sol.required to reach the end pt. of titratn.
simply..
water content = consumption of kf soln.in ml x titrated value
of KF soln.
titrated value = mg of water/ml of KF soln.
