As per service tax act 1994(july 1), "Service tax" is a
kind of tax which charges are collecting from the service
providers at certin persentage is called service tax and
also who consumed the service from the service providers,
is also liable for payment of service tax to the GOVT.

For example:1)Transpotr services.
2)Hotels & Motels services
3)Cleaning & Furnishing services
4)Rental Room & Things
5)Such a more about 121 services are taxable in
india excempt Jammu & Kashmir.
