Actully billing depends two types
1- kva basis
2nd - kw basis
In Hariyana Billing based on KW basis
In dis m=billing there is a penalty & rebate system
If power factor is 0.9 then no panality & no rebate
if power factor below than 0.9 then panality starts 0.5 %
@.01 percent decrease of power factor
if poweer factor more than .90 then .5 % @ .01 increase of
power factor
this system is applied due to if power factor goes down
then will down but current will be higher so dat all
switchgera like poles size , conductor size, insulator
size, line loss will be much higher
thats why power factor is required upto unity
