Sales refer to as a systematic process of repetitive and measurable milestones, by which a salesperson relates his offering enabling the buyer to visualize how to achieve his goal in an economic way.
Selling is a practical implementation of MARKEING it often forms a separate grouping in a corporate
structure, employing separate specialist operatives known as salesmen (singular: salesman or salesperson).
Marketing is the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large.
The Marketing task is not only to deliver the product. In fact, it entails much more than just promotion and
delivery. Marketing now is:-
“Right product for the Right people at the Right time at the Right place at a Right price with Right
services”.
Different b/t marketing & sale:In one word
*Marketing = Awareness
(demographic, R&D, surveys etc) and
*Sales = seldom profit & delivery
(Generate Revenue,process to Deliver the goods & services to Customer OR Consumer with awareness. etc)
