1.we that the example of cycle wheel . cycle wheel are made of
lot of rods due this when we stop the cycle cycle runs few
distance but if wheel of cycle made of complete disc it cnnt
move after stop the cycle .just like in case of salint &non
salient rotor.
2. damper winding(it is the AL rods which is mount in pole
face of rotor.
