what is the work (job or role)of sap-sd consultant in a
cutover activity???
Answer Posted / shriyasuhaas@gmail.com
Cut over is the activity that happens 2 days before the go
live . During this activity as a sap sd consultant you need
to take care of loading the master data into the sap
legacy system thorugh LSMW or BDC in the form of FTP(File
transfer process) .
The second activity that is needed over here during
cutouver is to sit with Technical team and understand the
interfaces required ; programs to run the interfaces and
their connectivity as thorugh these interfaces only one
will be connecting the non legacy to leagacy and also check
the movment of data is carried sucessfully or not
