We know that primary transmission is done to reduce current
so that i^2*r loss could be minimised but according to ohm's
law v is directly proportional to i,which indirectly means
higher potential difference means larger current?so how the
current is minimised in high power transmission line??

You need to remember that you are transmitting watts or
kwh's and not amps. The amperage is directly related to the
load that the customer requires. According to Ohm's Law
I = E/R or watts = Volts x Amps or Amps = watts/volts.
Using a higher voltage allow you to transmit a larger amount
of watts with lower amperage and thus less voltage drop and
less losses.
