Sir if there is any difference between the upsc ENGG and
UPSC IES exam?? if there pls explain me
Answer Posted / pavan
Engineering Services examination (ESE) and IES examination
are different examination and both are conducted by
UPSC every year.
Engineering services examination is taken for engineering
students for posts in govt. sector. This exam is generally
termed IES examination by students in misconception of
Indian Engineering Services examination.
IES examination is completely different examination and
is meant for Economics students. IES stands for Indian
Economics Services examination and is also known as
Indian Statistical Services examination.
So, dont confuse between these two and focus on the
examination you want to appear.
IES--Indian Economic Services / Indian Statistical Services.
ESE--Engineering Services Examination.
Guys@ Correct it....if am WRONG...!
Thanks
