In some circuits the change in temperature affects the measurement. for example in case of a strain gauge the sensitivity of the gauge gets affected whenever there is change in temperature. this is because change in temp creates the thermal expansion of the material of the wire..
hence to get accurate measured values we have to compensate for these variations in temp and therefore temp compensation is done.

We are using Rosemount 5400 series Radar Level Transmitters in all types of Sump Applications having oily water hdrocarbon petrochemical nature. What we are facing the problem frequently is that always getting reading frezzed at some value. If we do power recycling , sometimes it is working . then making same freezing problem.
