what is consistency transmitter and describe its working?
Answer Posted / p.gopalakrishnan
CONSISTENCT IS DEFINED AS THE AMOUNT OF PULP PRESENT IN
100ML OF WATER.
IT IS USED TO CALCULATE THE AMOUNT OF PULP(SUPPLIED OR
RECEIVED) WITH RESPECT TO FLOW.
FOR EX: PULP FLOW IS 300 M3/HR AND ITS CONSISTENCY IS 4.2%
THEN THE TONNES OF PULP PER HOUR IS CALCULATED BY:
= PULP FLOW X (CONSISTENCY/100
= 300X(4.2/100) = 12.60 TONNES PER HOUR
