I have 1 gram of Diphenylamine and want to make a 10,000 or
1000 ppm solution in methanol. How do I make this?
Answer Posted / suresh reddy.b
Dear friend
dissolve 1 g of Diphenylamine in 100 mL of methanol tou will get 10000 ppm solution of Diphenylamine.
1 g/100 mL X 1000000 =10000 ppm
If purity of Diphenylamine is 100% other wise you should apply purity factor in calculation.
Ex : purity of Diphenylamine is 50 %
2 g/100 mL X 50/100 1000000 =10000 ppm.
