generally for transmitter we are giving supply 24vlts?but we
are getting output 4-20ma ? how it is possible? is there any
operation inside the tx?pls give complete information?
Answer Posted / nitin ku.sharma
in case of Siemens level transmitter we give 220V AC,so it is not necessarily that we give 24V as input.as in case of 24V input supply we kept a constant resistance of fixed value and since V is fixed and R will increase than I will decrease and vice versa.we get 4 ma when resistance is min. and 20 ma when resistance is max.
