Difference Between Isolator and Mcb
Answer Posted / nikhil hari
Isolater is used to isolate our devices form Supply. but
there is no protection in isolater. If any fault current
comes our devises or isolater get damaged. Eg: Switch
But MCB is used for circuit protection rather than
isolation. If any fault current comes MCB will trip and
protect or devise.
Different types of MCB's are there B,C,D curve MCB. that
depend up on Instantinous tripping Chara of MCB.
