Rate of WCT vary upon the circumstances of the contract. If
the rate for material supply and erection (Manpower Job)
has been shown separately in the contract and contractor
having registered in the department as a composite dealer,
in that case the contractor shall charge the applicable VAT
rate on the item supplied instead of WCT. However, if the
contractor not registered as a composite dealer or the
rates are not shown separately in the contact for material
supply and erection (Manpower Job), in that case,
contractor have to charge WCT @ 4% after excluding the
Amount of Service Tax @ 4 % on the total bill value.
