let x+y=5000
(x+(10x/100))+(y+15y/100)=5600

then 110x+115y=560000
110x+115y=550000
------------------
5y=10000=========>y=2000

and at last x+y=5000=====>x+2000=5000===> x=3000
so answer is 3000(Male population)
