Finess modulus = Sum of cumulative % weight retained aggregate/100
It is in between 2.2 to 3.2
You can define it as
2.2-2.6(Finess modulus)= Fine sand
2.6-2.9(Finess Modulus)= Medium Sand
2.9-3.2(Finess modulus)= Coarse Sand
