IF TWO DISSIMILAR METALS ARE JOINED TOGETHER SO AS TO FORM A
CLOSED CIRCUIT ,THERE WILL BE TWO JUNCTION FORMED WHERE THEY
MEET EACH OTHER.ONE OF THE JUNCTION IS CALLED HOT JUNCTION
OR REFERENCE JUNCTION AND ANOTHER JUNCTION IS CALLED COLD
JUNCTION OR MEASURING JUNCTION.IF HOT JUNCTION IS HEATED AN
EMF IS INDUCED AND FLOWS THROUGH THE WIRE ,THAT IS MEASURED
BY A GALVANOMETER OR MULTIMETER.THIS EFFECT IS CALLED
THERMOELECTRIC EFFECT AND THIS IS FIRST OBSERVED IN 1821 BY
SEEBACK SO IT IS ALSO CALLED AS SEEBACK EFFECT.
