HOW COULD A SINGLE PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR ROTATE IN OPPOSITE
DIRECTION???
Answer Posted / senthil kumaar.p
Assume Single phase induction motor has Three terminals.
RED,
Yellow and Blue.
It has Two winding.
Where the Blue is neutral supply is common.
If the Capacitor current is leads Red to Yellow means;R.M.F flows Red to Yellow and running forward direction.
If the capacitor current leads Yellow to Red; then R.M.F will flow reverse. Rotating Magnetic Flux.
