what is a differance between assay by HPLC and assay by
titration?
Answer Posted / kanakadurga
Assay by HPLC:
It explains how much of our analyte is(i.e Content of our
analyte). It is not related to purity of analyte.
For example:
Assume an analyte of x with 99.5% purity. And prepare
20%,50%and 85% solutions and inject in HPLC.
For 20% solution you will get 99.5% Purity and 20% Assay.
For 50% solution you will get 99.5% Purity and 50% Assay.
For 85% solution you will get 99.5% Purity and 85% Assay.
