Paid Transportation Which type of expenses these expenses

Answer Posted / safayat

Well, if u have paid transportation for carriage inward, i.e
for carrying materials to ur factory then it is a direct
expense. And if the transportation was paid for carriage
outward, i.e for delivering goods for selling purpose then
it is an indirect expense. A direct expense increases the
cost of goods sold.
