If you see the HRC fuse name plate. Its shown ampere rating
shown which is in many KA (like 80KA and so on). any body
explain what is meaning of this value?

Hi nitin
.in fuse normal rating 100 amps means it can clear the
fault if the ckt current exceed 100 amps for some time to
melt the fuse wire.and another rating 80 Kilo amps means
its the with stand capacity of the fuse.that it can clear
upto the fault current of 80 Kilo Amps without damaging the
electrical system.so its called short time withstand
capacity of the fuse.
