What is meant by Active and reactive power?
Answer Posted / haritha
Active power means power dissipated by resistor and which is
not returned back to source. In case of inductors and
capacitors , those are not power dissipated elements and
they returned back the power to source what ever amount they
have while current is passing through those elements. This
power is called reactive power.
