Which type of Load is BULB/LAMP ie R,L,C? reason
Answer Posted / riyazkhan r malek
-clearly bulb is resistive load because V and I are in phase with each other(angle=0 deg)..thats why power factor cos0 = 1(unity)
-bulb is not inductive load..how?..assume it as an inductive load due to wire's shape, but inductor must has core..dn in this case it ll be AIR CORE INDUCTOR,BUT ACTUALLY WIRE IS HEATED FOR PRODUCING LIGHT SO HEATING OF WIRE PROTECTED FROM AIR BY GLASSING THE FILAMENT OR WIRE..THUS BULB CANT BE (AIR CORE)INDUCTIVE LOAD
