If Ac supply is given to the DC motor then what will happen?
clear explanation
Answer Posted / rohit bharadia
it will depends on construction of motor;
if field winding is in series with the armature winding
then it is like a universal motor and it will run as a
simple motor.;
but field winding is in parallel with the armature winding
then it will not run, but current will flow in winding due
to this heatting will produced and the motor/winding car
burn.
