in ship earth system is, earth rod connected with direct sea water so good ground earth is connected with ship earth system, then in airplane earth wire must connect ct coil then earth wire is connect with in neutral wire or negative point when ever earth fault condition Current flow through in earth wire now ct coil sense the current (vanthni@yahoo.com
