HOW TO CALCULATE GROUND FAULT CURRENT IN 430V 4000AMP AIR
CIRCUIT BREAKER?
Answer Posted / k.prakashchandra
The line to ground voltage is about 250 V , The maximum
ground fault current is, when the phase wire touches the
earthed metal surface and it will be about 250 A ,taking ER
as 0.5 X 2 ohm ,ignoring impedance of the tr.

y we use neutral, all r told its used to for closed path..k its a just used to closed path,in a transmission line y we put same conductor used n both phase and neutral..if we use less than phase conductor in neutral mean we ll reduce cost its right r wrong..if we use mean any problem occur in transmission line..
