Pile foundation is the part of deep foundation.(deep
foundation means if the depth of footing is greater than
it's width)
Pile foundation are intended to transmit structural
loads through zones of poor soil to a depth where the soil
has desired capacity to transmit the loads.
It usually consist of a no. of piles which together to
support of a structure.
